Due to personal circumstances Wing Beat are no longer able to produce Two Way Mirror at the Blue Orange Theatre. We are looking into the possibility of producing the show ourselves. We will confirm dates once we have them.

The workshops we are currently hosting are: - Performance Combat Summer Intensive - Shakespeare Stripped Back Workshop Training/Classes - Workshops For more information click here This Level-1-Basic course teaches:  - Unarmed Combat. - Medieval Sword (Longsword/Broadsword). - Single-Rapier. The Level-1-Basic training syllabus includes:  - Understanding the importance of stance and footwork. - Balance and coordination development and improvement. - Mechanics and techniques of performance combat. - How to act the aggression and martial acting. - Training drills, forms and martial kata. - Team building skills and working with multiple opponents. - Linking actions and how to choreograph dramatic fight routines. - Understanding safety and risk assessment. - Basic armoury and maintenance of weapons and equipment. - Ancient to modern – the who’s who of histories fight masters An examination will be held at the end of the course where students will be expected to perform and link a range of performance combat techniques both in isolation and as part of a choreographed fight sequence. Successful students will receive a qualification and certificate from the ECSPC. The ECSPC treats performance combat tuition like any other combat or martial art training by focusing on mechanics and techniques rather than just teaching a single extended fight routine “by-the-numbers” in the way that other organisations teach.  Students are taught how to consistently perform combat actions both in isolation and as part of a performance fight, improve balance and coordination, learn the skills of acted aggression and gain an understanding of how to link actions and choreograph dramatic fight routines.
