After a highly successful run of ‘I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change’
Imaginary Friend Theatre Co is excited to announce their forthcoming
production – ‘The Last 5 Years’. This two hander musical, written by Jason
Robert Brown follows a doomed relationship from start to finish and from
finish to start. Cathy, an actress tells her story in reverse, from the painful
breakup to the excitement of first meeting a new lover. Jamie, a writer,
moves through the relationship chronologically, describing the rush of
finding ‘the one’ to the inevitable strains individual success and ambition
can bring.
The show features Laura Poyner and Dean Bayliss, who recently appeared
at The Blue Orange in IF Theatre’s musical comedy revue ‘I Love You,
You’re Perfect, Now Change’ and features a mixture of heartfelt, humorous
and haunting music that expertly tells this intimate story.

concessionary status.
