THE Blue Orange THE Blue Orange Theatre BOX OFFICE: 0121 2122643 The Blue Orange Theatre is a new independent theatre situated in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter.  Having recently finished an extensive refurbishment we opened our doors in 2011 News The Venue/Getting Here About Us/Hire The Blue Orange Theatre is owned and operated by Blue Orange Arts Limited, a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee.  The Blue Orange Theatre is primarily a fringe-professional producing theatre.  We do work with other Midlands based professional or fringe-professional theatre companies.  If you are interested in putting a show on at the theatre please use the contact form to get in touch making sure to include as much information as possible about your production.  We also strongly advise that you watch at least one of our productions to better understand the quality of the theatre we are trying to create. The Studio is available for hire for rehearsal and courses.  We currently charge £80 per day or £40 for half a day (morning, afternoon or evening).  If you are looking to run Monday - Friday daytime rehearsals or you want to book multiple sessions, please contact us for details on pricing.

Due to personal circumstances Wing Beat are no longer able to produce Two Way Mirror at the Blue Orange Theatre. We are looking into the possibility of producing the show ourselves. We will confirm dates once we have them.

In addition to our stage combat classes we are pleased to announce 2 new classes which will be starting in September.

Both are to be taught by Tracey Street, an highly experienced and accomplished Theatre practitioner.

The Blue Orange Theatre is a new independent theatre situated in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter.  Having recently finished an extensive refurbishment we opened our doors in 2011. The Blue Orange Theatre consists of:   - A flexible theatre space which seats between 90 and 110 depending on configuration.   - A rehearsal stuido, approximately 10m x 8m.   - A spacious bar. Getting Here Please click on the map above for a larger version. Bus: The 16, 74 and 75 buses stop directly outside the theatre. Rail: The nearest station is the Jewellery Quarter Station which is approximately 5 minutes walk.  Snow Hill is approximately 10 minutes walk and New Street is approximately 15 minutes walk. Metro: The nearest metro stop is St Paul’s which is approximately 2 minutes walk from the theatre. Driving: On street parking is free after 18:00 and there is usually sufficient available within close proximity of the theatre. There is a relatively inexpensive pay and display car park which is situated on the corner of Livery Street and Northwood Street.  The car park is chargeable Mon-Sat 8:00-18:00 and is free other times. There is a multi-storey car park situated on Vyse Street which is open Mon-Sat 6:00 – 20:30.
