We have announced a number of new classes. We have a new acting for beginner’s course, a devising course and youth classes. We also have the return of performance combat classes including an intermediate class. Please visit the Training/Classes page for full details.

Due to personal circumstances Wing Beat are no longer able to produce Two Way Mirror at the Blue Orange Theatre. We are looking into the possibility of producing the show ourselves. We will confirm dates once we have them.

In addition to our stage combat classes we are pleased to announce 2 new classes which will be starting in September.

  • Creating New Theatre (The art of Devising)

Both are to be taught by Tracey Street, an highly experienced and accomplished Theatre practitioner.

Time: Tuesday evenings 7.30 - 9.30

Cost: Students may pay on a weekly or per-term basis - Pay Weekly: £10.00 per session - Pay Per-Term: £90.00 per term

The Blue Orange Theatre is committed to new writing; to this end we will be hosting a new writing group where writers can hear their script read and receive feedback. We will also facilitate workshops for new writing and host initial productions. The next meeting will be held on Monday 6th February 7.30pm Monday 5th March 7.30pm Monday 2nd April 7.30pm As usual, we'll be discussing writing, scripts, plays, film, acting, directing, readings and anything else that takes our fancy. It's described as a writing group, but it's more than that with writers, actors, directors, film-makers and other interested parties. If you are interested in attending please just turn up, if you need any more information or would like to be added to the mailing list please use the contact page of this webiste. if you have a script you would like to have read please email first to let us know. The New Writing meetings are free to attend.  Please help us keep them this way by buying a drink at the bar if you are able.
